HYDERABAD, Oct 13: The University of Sindh, Jamshoro has finalized the schedule for admission to bachelors and masters degrees programme in all the disciplines for the academic session 2002-2003 at a meeting of the deans committee presided by vice chancellor of the university, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui here on Saturday.

The meeting decided that the new academic session of 2002- 2003 would start from January 16.

It resolved that the pre-entry test would be conducted by IBA Karachi for the admission to the bachelors classes while test for admission to the master degree programme would be conducted by the University of Sindh.

The meeting also decided not to increase fee for admission to new academic session of 2002-2003.

It discussed the requests received from parents of students for enhancement of seats in general disciplines for the districts of upper Sindh. In this regard, the deans committee proposed for allocation of double seats only in those disciplines which were not being taught in Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur.

The meeting decided about the schedule of first and second semester and mid-term and final test of the first semester of the new academic session of 2002-2003.

It finalized the schedule for inviting applications for admission, date for pre-entry test and the announcement of the results of the pre-entry test of bachelors and master degree programmes.
