JAMSHORO: Three persons were killed and nine others injured when a Karachi-bound passenger coach collided head-on with a container-mounted long vehicle coming from Punjab on M-9 Motorway on Friday.

The deceased victims, Ashiq, Mitha Khan and Jaffar Khan, and the injured people were transported to the Liaquat University Hospital in Jamshoro. The bodies were handed over to the heirs after a post-mortem examination.

In another accident, a woman was knocked down and a child suffered injuries when they were hit by a van near the Aliabad bus stop on the Indus Highway.
