PESHAWAR: Fauzia Inayat was elected unopposed as president of Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry here on Wednesday.

According to a statement, Rabeel Riaz was elected senior vice president and Rukhsana as vice president. They were also elected unopposed. The announcement was made by a three-member election commission.

The election commission was headed by Brikhna Liaquat and its members included Afsheen Malik and Zili Huma. It was stated that none of the women chamber members had submitted nomination papers against these office-bearers and thus they returned unopposed.
