KARACHI, Aug 19: The participants of the Summer School Programme at four primary schools at the Lyari Expressway Resettlement Site, Hawkesbay, were distributed school uniforms as a reward for attending the course.

Naib City Nazim Tariq Hasan was the chief guest on the occasion.

The programme was organized by the Lyari Expressway Resettlement Project, in which 180 students participated, who were also taken to the Zoological Garden for entertainment.

At the resettlement site at Hawkesbay, the number of families shifted from the Lyari River Bed, making way for the construction of the Lyari Expressway, is rapidly increasing.
