FAISALABAD, Aug 18: Dacoits shot dead a villager and injured his friend on resistance in Chak 223 RB, Saddar area, on Sunday night.

Sher Muhammad and Asghar Ali were intercepted by some masked men in Chak 223 RB. The dacoits tried to snatch cash and watches from them and opened fire when they resisted. Sher died instantly. — Staff Correspondent
