KARACHI, Aug 18: Sindh Chief Minister Sardar Ali Mohammad Mahar has taken serious notice of the criminal assault of the girl, who went to an amusement park with her fiance on Sunday evening.

The chief minister has directed Sindh Minister for Women Development Dr Saeeda Malik to personally probe into this incident to bring the four culprits to justice.

Following the instruction, Dr Saeeda Malik has asked the victim of this incident to contact her on telephone numbers 5854747 and 5855757 so that culprits involved in assault could be awarded exemplary punishment.

Dr Malik said that she would personally hold meeting with the victim and share her grief. Moreover, after knowing the facts she would supervise the investigations to arrest the culprits, she added.

She said that all measures would be taken to deal with such social evils with iron hands, no matter how influential and powerful they were. This, she said, was essential to provide peaceful and secure atmosphere to innocent women so that they could enjoy their lives and visit parks, markets and other places without any fear and hesitation.
