LAHORE, Aug 17: District Nazim Mian Amer Mahmood said on Sunday that industrial homes in all the six towns of the city district would be constructed.

He was presiding over a meeting of the advisory committee after inaugurating the District Industrial Home at Allama Iqbal Town here.

He said that the CDG would make plots and funds available for the construction of the industrial homes.

He said that state-of-the-art equipment would be made available for the training of students at the industrial home. He also ordered purchase of airconditioners for the building.

He directed Executive District Officer (Community Development) Zahid Aziz Khan to constitute a citizens community board, comprising the district industrial home advisory committee members, to formulate proposals for acquisition of equipment for the industrial home.

Former minister for social welfare Shaheen Attiqur Rehman briefed the Nazim about the district industrial home and stressed the need for provision of modern training equipment at it.
