BAHAWALPUR, Aug 15: Abbasnagar police on Friday registered a case against eight people for allegedly stripping four women at Mauza Abbasnagar.
Police said that accused Naseer, Bashir and their six accomplices barged into the house of Mukhtar Mai. At pistol point, they stripped naked and tortured Mukhtar Mai, Kausar Mai, Bhrawan and Shamim to take revenge for the abduction of Naseer’s daughter by their relatives.
However, no arrest has so far been reported.
HOSTAGE: Nine people allegedly made hostages an ASI and a constable at Mauza Sui Wahar here on Friday.
On receiving information, a Musafirkhana police party rushed to the spot and got ASI Khan Muhammad and the constable freed from their captivity. The ASI and the constable had gone there for investigation.
