Omar to skipper Pindi

ISLAMABAD, Aug 13: Omar Khattak of Islamabad, the top scorer with 338 runs in the recent Inter-district Championship was on Wednesday named to lead the Rawalpindi Region team in the Inter- gegion Under-19 cricket championship.

A 20-member squad was announced following trials held at the Rawalpindi Stadium.

The team: Omar Khattak (captain), Usman Saeed (vice captain), Waqas Zafar, Wajid Hussain, Imran Fazil, Kashif Bashir, Fayyaz Ahmed, Kamran Baig, Khalid Mushtaq, Qasim Maqbool, Danish Hanif, Ehsan Khan, Raja Shafa, Zohaib Ahmed, Asif Khan, Muhammad Ibrahim, Adnan Ghani, Rizwan Akbar, Ali Raza, Omer Khaliq.
