KARACHI, Aug 12: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has said that the poor and middle class people should jointly strive for solution of their problems because they were faced with similar issues. Mr Hussain was speaking at the general workers meeting of the MQM, Old Lyari Sector, at Mulla Fazil Hall, Chakiwara, in Lyari on Tuesday, after elected office-bearers of the sector committee and unit committees were announced.

Lauding the Old Lyari people for uniting on the MQM platform, Mr Hussain said that the lower and middle classes, regardless of their language and culture, were facing water, power, health and employment issues.
