IT was shocking to learn through media that an 80-year-old retired MI5 agent John Hopkins has made a series of astonishing confessions, including the assassination of British Princess Lady Diana. The British royal family has been accused of doing this.

It is worth mentioning here that Russian President Vladimir Putin had also accused Queen Elizabeth, the late queen mother, Prince Philip and Prince Charles for arranging the murder of Lady Diana, the Princess of Wales, by MI5 in 1997 in Paris.

This is big news. But I am surprised there is nothing about it on the electronic as well as the print media. This silence by the Western media proves it is a ‘controlled media’. It is the Russian president who claims that the royal family had blood on their hands.

Doesn’t it need a free, fair and impartial investigation into the brutal killing of the charming and the kind-hearted princess? What was her guilt? Had she embraced Islam? Or her guilt was that she wanted to marry a Pakistani doctor?

If she wanted to do so then what was wrong with that? She could have married after divorcing Prince Charles. A general perception is the British crown was at risk because of her. Thus she had to die.

It is time the British Supreme Court took a suo motu action of this high-profile case. Whoever is responsible along with the accomplices must be dealt with according to the law.
