ISLAMABAD, Aug 10: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has approved a project for computer networking at Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences and Technology, Karachi, at a cost of about Rs31 million.
According to a press release, the project was approved in a meeting of the HEC’s Departmental Development Working Party.
The project, which will be completed in one year, aims at providing internal automation and developing the university’s infrastructure, including local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).
