100 players turn up at trials

KARACHI, Aug 9: Around a hundred budding cricketers appeared in the Karachi under-19 trials at National Stadium on Saturday

Acting chairman of selection committee and former Test batsman Aftab Baloch said that besides 51 invited boys, 50 more youngsters took part in the trials.

Trials were also watched by chief selector Aslam Sanjrani for a while alongwith former international Asif Ahmed and Ex-Test paceman Jalaluddin.

The second round of trials will be held at same venue on Monday at 2.00pm after which 30 probables will be picked.—APP
