Karachi boxing squad named

KARACHI, Aug 9: Karachi has named its eight member team for All-Pakistan boxing tournament to be organized in Jhang from Aug 12 to 14, says a press release on Saturday.

Team:

Mohammad Ashraf (48kg), Mohammad Azam (51kg), Ejaz (54kg), Jibran Patni (57kg), Shahjahan (60kg), Shahid Ali (64kg), Zakir Hussain (69kg) and Mohammad Ali (75kg).

Officials: Noor Mohammad Qambrani (manager), Ali Bukhsh Baloch (coach).

Meanwhile, Youm-i-Azadi boxing tournament will be organized on Aug 13 and 14 at Azad Baloch Boxing Club, says a press release on Saturday.

It will be held under the auspices of Karachi South Boxing Association in collaboration with Sindh Sports Board.
