226 lecturers regularized

Published August 8, 2003

LAHORE, Aug 7: The Punjab Public Service Commission on Thursday recommended 121 male and 106 female ad hoc lecturers for regularization of their services.

The Punjab education department had removed all ad hoc lecturers from the service “after providing them maximum opportunities besides giving extra marks for their experience.”

However, the Supreme Court in October last ordered their reinstatement through the Punjab Public Service Commission at the posts last held by them.

Meanwhile, the PPSC also recommended five male and two female ad hoc subject specialists for regularization of their service.
