KARACHI: Experienced first-class cricketer Khurram Shehzad dazzled with a knock of 90 as Dollar East marched into the semi-finals of 30th Aga Khan Gymkhana T20 Ramazan Cricket Festival Trophy after beating Advance Telecom by 18 runs here on Friday.

Dollar East, pit into bat, collected an imposing 220-6 at the AKG Ground with Khurram plundering seven sixes and six boundaries during his hurricane 46-ball innings. Jahandad Khan struck 32 off 16 balls with three fours and two sixes, while Usman Qadir blasted three sixes in an eight-ball unbeaten cameo of 24.

Advance Telecom made a positive response as Salman Afridi hit 37 off 20 balls with four fours and two sixes, Taimur Sultan 33 off21 balls with six boundaries, Bilal Asif 25 off 13 balls with two sixes an two fours and Rameez Aziz 24 off 12 balls with three sixes.

But in the end, Advance Telecom only managed to reach 202-9 with leg-spinner Usman Qadir capturing 3-30 and former Pakistan paceman Mohammad Sami 2-35.
