PESHAWAR, Aug 5: As a part of the week-long campaign against hepatitis lunched by the government, the administration of Khyber Teaching Hospital on Tuesday established a camp at the hospital where visitors were provided information about preventive measures.

Doctors and experts on the occasion asked the people to concentrate on the preventive side of the disease, because the treatment of the disease was long and expensive. People were given informative booklets by the organisers.

In Mohmand Agency, Dr Mohammad Riaz has called upon the people to adopt hygienic ways of living to be prevented by the disease.

On the occasion, walks were held at the inaccessible areas of the Agency in order to create awareness among the people.

In Swabi, a seminar was held organized by the EDO (Health).

In Hangu also a seminar was held at the civil hospital here on Tuesday, where Acting Nazim, doctors and elected representatives of the area, asked people to take preventive measures. The participants also organized a walk against the disease.
