JACOBABAD: Five officials booked

JACOBABAD, Aug 5: The Anti-corruption Establishment has registered cases against two police officials and three revenue officials for their alleged involvement in corruption.

The circle officer, anti-corruption, said head constable, Zameer Ali was booked for accepting a bribe of Rs6000 against release of Doheero. Tapedar Qadir Bux Jatoi received a bribe of Rs5000 from Javed Hussain Dasti, Tapedar Allah Dino Soomro tempered with the documents of land of Ameer Hamzo Soomro, Tapedar Mir Mohammad Soomro forged the land record of Raheem Bux Rind after receiving Rs200,000.

He informed that Inspector Noor Nabi and ASI Leemon Lashari illegally detained businessman, Ghulam Hussain, at the Karim Bux police station and released him after getting a bribe to the tune of Rs30,000.—Correspondent
