‘No comments on exile deal’

Published August 5, 2003

LAHORE, Aug 4: Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad says President Musharraf has refused to comment on PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif’s claim on Sharifs’ exile deal.

In a press statement last week, the PML-N chief claimed that he had signed the deal under coercion.

Talking to reporters during his visit to railway carriage factory here on Monday, the minister said whether talks on the LFO were held before or after the National Assembly session, the PPP and the PML-N would “definitely make a noise.”
