LAHORE: Babu Passenger train will be leaving Wazirabad for Lahore 15 minutes earlier than its present departure time from Thursday (June 1).

According to an announcement of the Pakistan Railways on Tuesday, the 206-Down Babu Passenger will be leaving Wazirabad at 4:45am to reach Lahore at 6:50am.

Earlier, it used to leave Wazirabad at 5am to reach Lahore at 7am.

The all-economy class train covers the 100 kilometres distance between Wazirabad and Lahore in two hours or so.

Babu Passenger is the favourite train of the white-collar class living in Wazirabad, Gujranwala, Eimanabad, Ghakhar Mandi, Muridke and adjoining areas who come to Lahore in the morning and return to their hometowns in the evening.
