Robbers strike 12 times

FAISALABAD, Aug 3: Robbers made off with hundreds of thousands of rupees, gold ornaments and took away a motorcycle in 12 strikes in the district during the last 24 hours.

Robbers injured industrial worker Abdul Rahman on resistance in Kakuana village of Saddar area and took away thousands of rupees and a wrist watch from him.

A gang of robbers collected cash and gold from the house of Qamar Ahmad after injuring him and his brother in Ghulam Muhammadabad area.

Three masked men looted Rs100,000 and gold ornaments worth thousands of rupees from the house of Muhammad Abbas in Raja Park.

Two robbers snatched Rs150,000 from the cashier of a filing station on Jhang Road.

Robbers snatched thousands of rupees and gold from a couple in Chak 237 RB.

Four women looted cash and gold from the house of Muhammad Khan at gunpoint in Tandlianwala.

Four robbers snatched gold ornaments and other valuables from the family of local trader Rafiq Ahmad in Islam Nagar.

A gang of robbers looted 12 tolas of gold and other valuables from the house of Sher Muhammad in Rafiq Colony.

Two masked men snatched Rs10,000 from bank manager Sher Khan in Tandlianwala.
