SAHIWAL: The security agencies arrested two members of banned outfits on Sunday for planning to trigger sectarian violence in the city.
The suspects, Akbar Shah Khagga and Irfan, have been arrested from Kot Khadim Ali Shah and Kot Allah Din areas, respectively. Khagga is suspected to be involved in the Sehwan Sharif blast in Sindh and has links with Amanullah, the driver of Malik Ishaq, who is an expert in developing improvised explosive devices.
Both the suspects have been shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. The agencies are reportedly looking for Amanullah.
chickenpox: Around 400 chickenpox patients have been treated at the outdoors of the Sahiwal DHQ Teaching Hospital during the last 40 days.
Hospital sources said 12 to 15 patients are coming to the OPD daily.
Senior medical officer Mushtaq Ahmed Sapra told Dawn hospital had enough vaccination which was given to all patients coming from urban and rural areas.
He said all chickenpox patients were treated in outdoors and no one was admitted to wards.
Health workers in the hospital were vaccinated by the management to protect them from the disease.
