Anti-tetanus drive

GUJRANWALA, Aug 2: As many as 223,530 women would be vaccinated against tetanus here in the third round of the first phase of vaccination campaign from Aug 4 to 16.

This was announced by Executive District Officer (Health) Dr Zafar Iqbal Niazi while talking to this agency here on Saturday.

He said that 16 zonal supervisors, 131 areas in-charge and 932 teams had been constituted for the campaign.

As many as 162 teams had been constituted for Wazirabad, 233 for Gujranwala city, 290 for Sadar Gujranwala, 155 for Kamoki and 92 for Nowshera Virkan.—APP
