LAHORE, Aug 2: The Pakistan Workers Confederation protested against the arrest of Railway Workers Union secretary-general Fazle Wahid outside the Lahore Press Club here on Saturday.
The demonstrators raised slogans against the arrest of the labour leaders and demanded his unconditional release to end unrest among the railways workers.
PWC secretary general Khurshid Ahmad said on the occasion Mr Wahid had been arrested on the basis of old cases to create unrest among the workers.
