DERA MURAD JAMALI: An election officer in Jhal Magsi district was killed in a road accident while three people lost their lives in a clash between two groups of the Jamali tribe in the Goth Imam Bakhsh area of Nasirabad district.

According to the police, District Election Officer Abdul Nabi died when his car overturned, apparently because of speeding.

Meanwhile, two rival groups of the Jamali tribe took up arms against each other over some financial matters. As result of the firing, three people were killed and one was injured.

Law enforcement agencies took the deceased and the injured to the hospital. The deceased were identified as Wali Khan, Imran Khan and Muhammad Saleem. The bodies were handed over to the families after the medico-legal formalities were completed. A case has been registered by the police. They have arrested a man identified as Asghar Ali in this regard. Further investigation is being carried out.
