RAWALPINDI, Aug 2: The family members of Ehsan Aziz, who had allegedly been arrested by the FBI and Pakistani intelligence agencies two months ago from Mirpur, have demanded of the government to release him immediately.

Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, the wife and sisters of Aziz, who is the son of a JI leader in Azad Kashmir, termed his detention unlawful. “If he is involved in any illegal activity, he should be tried in a court of law, they said.

They said they had also moved the Azad Kashmir court for the release of Ehsan, which asked the AJK government to produce Ahsan but in vain.
