Sharing multiplies the joys

This is with reference to the story “Sharing multiplies the joys” by Syeda Armeen Nasim (YW, April 8).

The story was nice and contained a great lesson that kids should not be possessive about their toys, as it would only lead them to isolation and no other kid would prefer to play with them. It is rightly said that sharing toys with friends multiplies the pleasure of playing with them.

Raised by animals

This is regarding the cover story “Raised by animals” by Fida Hussain (YW, April 8).

I was really astonished to read the article as I didn’t know about such cases that kids accidentally or unknowingly have been left in the wild and were cared and raised by various animals. It is really impressive as well as unbelievable to see so many wild animals taking care of kids as their own offsprings.

YW always provides us with, information that we are unfamiliar with which enhances our knowledge, therefore I am thankful to the magazine’s team and the writer as well.

The article “Raised by animals” by Fida Hussain was the most unbelievable article I have ever read. I realised how thankless we are for the things easily available to us.

We live with our families, in luxurious houses, with ample food and opportunities. But these unlucky kids had no choice but to test their survival skills in the wild until they were rescued. Because of the adversity they faced, most of them couldn’t cope with the world and ran back to the place they grew up in. We should be thankful for what we have and always help the needy wherever we see them.

Young World

Young World is an entertainment magazine so it is not just my favourite but it is the favourite of my whole family too. Among so many interesting columns, “Story time” and “Jokes” are my favourite.

However, I am really impressed with “Art work” which is really encouraging for the young artists. It gives kids the chance to showcase their talent to the world.

Ever since I have started reading this bundle of entertaining papers (YW), many of my skills have developed and improved including reading, writing and, of course, arts.

Reading Young World is a great way to increase one’s vocabulary. I like YW very much.
