CHARSADDA: The local police claimed on Saturday to have arrested three suspected terrorists and recovered heavy weapons from their possession in Shabqadar area, adjoining the Mohmand tribal region.

Officials at the Saro Kalay police station told mediapersons that the arrested terrorists had affiliation with the proscribed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, Mohmand Agency chapter. The arrested men were identified as Jan Alam, Rozi Khan and Zora Din.

According to the police, three rockets, four hand grenades, one improvised explosive device and hate literature were recovered from the possession of the suspected militants. A case was registered against them and further investigations were started.
