LAHORE, July 31: Competitions in five weight categories were held on the opening day of the Lahore District powerlifting tournament at the Punjab University Old Campus Ground on Thursday.

52kgs: Vicky (National Club) 70, 150=220; Asim (Wohaib), Sajid Amanat (PowerHouse).

56kgs: Abdullah Ghafoor (Ghafoor Club) 70, 160=230; Muhammad Waqas (Wohaib), Suleman Ahmad (National).

60kgs: Pervaiz Rehmat (National) 95, 180=275; Muhammad Ilyas (Ghafoor), Muhammad Anees (PowerHouse).

67.5kgs: Zohaib Ali (Builders) 120, 150=270; Muhammad Amjad (National), Muhammad Basit  (National),  Muhammad Naveed (PowerHouse).
