It is just Indian propaganda ‘give consular access’. As Yadav is a spy then his rights for consular access are automatically forfeited. Consular access is given to normal citizens not spies. What needs to be done is UNSC should refer the case to the International Criminal Court(ICC) for Indian state hand in subversive activities.

I fail to understand the logic of pakistans stand. If the evidence against Yadhav is strong why is pakistan not using the same to name and shame India, clearly something is missing at Pakistan end. While Yadhav is in custody , his confession is meaningless. We all know how confessions are taken in custody be it in India or Pakistan. Pakistan has to provide clear evidences and proof if it wants the world to belief that Yadhav was a spy. Every person is innocent until proven guilty beyond doubt.

@max , Consular access is given to EVERY citizen of a country, whether a person is accused as a spy or a murderer.It was given to Kasab as well.

Counselor access is not given to spies and terrorists. Remember India refused consular access to Ajmal Kasab.

@Govind good point Govind, however, you may also realize that if Yadav is innocent, then India may take this to UN and then the case may be decided by ICC as commented by Harmony-1. Another interesting point for you to speculate is that 100's of fishermen are caught in Pakistani waters, but no one in India says that "they are son of India" or any foreign minister says that "India will go out of its way to get these fishermen free".

@Govind well said but there is a little problem to use the information given by Mr.Jadhav by Pak government may compromise many Pakistani assets .But I have a very simple question why India is much disturbed with one person while there many poor Indian fishermen get arrested almost every day and I never heard Indian government asking Pak government for consular access or any other sort of help?

Only a confessional video can not be evidence for the capital of punishment. if there are evidence make public and give the access. every convict have the right to meet a man who willing to help him either he are militaryman or civilian. if fake passport are the only proof then punish him for that not capital punishment. and every capital punishment should be challenged in a apex civilian world in any civilized country.
