KARACHI, Jan 3: The working of the KWSB was badly affected as its 9th-mile offices complex, situated on Sharae Faisal, remained without power for the second consecutive day on Thursday.

The KESC on Wednesday disconnected the power supply to the KWSB complex and residential colony on account of non-payment of electricity charges.

Taking a strong notice of the disconnection City Nazim Naimatullah Khan said that all federal and provincial government organisations should take him (city Nazim) into confidence prior to taking such a drastic action against any city government organisation, or else any such action would be considered unlawful.

He also expressed resentment over the fact that his directives to the KESC authorities for immediate restoration of power supply to the KWSB offices had not yet been implemented.
