KHAIRPUR, July 29: Three persons, including two police constables, were killed and a woman was injured in an encounter between the police and robbers in the Kingri taluka here on Tuesday.
The police challenged the robbers who were trying to snatch a motorcycle from a man near Abar Sim Nali, Pir-jo-Goth, on the Ahmad Pur Road. In the encounter, police constables Imdad Ali Siyal and Mansoor Ahmad Soomro were killed.
One of the robbers, whose name could not be identified was also killed. A woman, Farzan Shar, was injured.
