Kharan thrash Sibi, Panjgur edge Lasbela 1-0

QUETTA: In a fantastic display of high class soccer, Kharan thrashed Sibi 8-1 while Panjgur scored a narrow win over Lasbela 1-0 on the fourth day of the final round of the PPL Balochistan Football Cup 2017 here on Saturday.

Sibi, playing in navy blue, scored the sole goal, managed to score just one goal through Arif Ali in the 25th minute against a rampaging Kharan who excelled in their white gear to right from the beginning. Hakmat, who led the onslaught for Kharan with a hat-trick, was declared the Man of the Match.

In another match, Panjgur in yellow, put in an impressive performance to beat Lasbela in green by 1-0 as the losers struggled to put up a fight. The only goal of the match was scored in the 13th minute of the first half by Meer Gul who also won the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance. Both the matches were held at Yazdan Khan High School Ground, Quetta.

The semi-finals of the tournament will be held on March 31 while the final is slated for April 2 in Quetta.
