KASUR: Two patrolling policemen were shot dead by gunmen on Friday near village Dheeda.

The officials were patrolling as usual on Friday night when the gunmen opened fire at the van, leaving Assistant Sub-Inspector Sajjad Ali and Constable Farmaish injured. They were received dead at the Kasur District Headquarters Hospital.

Six teams were formed for the arrest of the accused.

According to police, ASI Ali had arrested a criminal in village Dheeda where the incident took place.
