QUETTA, July 26: The officials of the nine district cricket associations of Balochistan have rejected the provincial cricket body of the province nominated by the ad hoc chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Lt. General Tauqir Zia and decided not to work with the body.

Balochistan District Cricket Associations Coordination Committee was formed in the meeting of the district cricket bodies for launching struggle against the decision of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Later addressing a press conference, secretary Quetta District Cricket Association, Gul Mohammad Kakar, announced the decisions of the joint meeting.

He said that the meeting expressed dissatisfaction over the nomination of the office bearers of Balochistan Cricket Association (BCA) and observed PCB has included those people in the provincial body who have even lost district elections.

He said that Yawar Aziz and Mohammad Jan Marri who have been nominated in the provincial body by the PCB as senior vice president and vice president have also decided not join the new provincial cricket body.

The secretary QCA, said that the meeting while rejecting the decision of the PCB demanded that office bearers of BCA should be nominated with the consultation of all the nine district bodies of the province.

The members of the coordination Committee would approach the chairman PCB very soon and would discuss the controversial issue with him.
