SSB organises summer camps

SUKKUR, July 26: Sindh Sports Board (SSB) has organised Summer Coaching Camps for cricket, hockey and squash at different grounds of the city on Friday and Saturday, which are scheduled to continue till Aug 8.

The squash camp which was organized for players of under-20 years age would be supervised by former international squash champion Jahangir Khan.

According to District Officer Sport and Culture Ali Nawaz Khalidi, a total of 30 players are participating in the hockey camp.

Similarly, he said that 40 players are taking part in the cricket coaching camp which was inaugurated by Secretary District Cricket Association, Sukkur Dr. Aftab Ahmed Soomro.

He hoped that the summer camps in three important national games would give required guidance and expertise to the sportsmen of this area, and also would help discover their talent.—APP
