Dispensary without Medicines

GUJRAT, July 26: Hundreds of PTCL employees are facing hardships due to acute shortage of medicines at corporation’s dispensary in Gujrat.

Sources said on Saturday that a local hospital on PTCL’s panel had suspended provision of medical services to corporation staff.

The employees have asked the authorities concerned to provide necessary medicines to the dispensary at the earliest.

FIR ORDERED: District and Sessions judge Raja Abdul Qayyum has directed Jalalpur Jattan Sadar police to register a case against an ASI for torturing a woman and her family members.

Complainant Riaz Bibi alleged that ASI Shaukat Topa had forcibly entered her house in Ranewal Syedan and tortured her, her sister Shahnaz and brother Ashiq. — Correspondent
