KARACHI, July 26: The Vice Chief of Army Staff, General Mohammad Yousuf Khan, spent a busy day visiting School of Army Air Defence, Headquarter Corpse Reserves and the Old Racecourse Park on Saturday.

According to an ISPR press release, Gen Yousuf was given a detailed briefing on the aim and scope of the training activities at the institution, by the Commandant, Brig Mushtaq. The VCOAS also visited various facilities and saw student officers busy in training.

Later, Gen Yousuf visited the Headquarters Corpse Reserves. General Officer Commanding, Maj Gen Ahsan Azhar Hayat, conducted a briefing on the ongoing training activities and various development projects focussing on the uplift of Malir Garrison. The VCOAS also went to the Corps Reserve Battle School and saw the ongoing anti-terrorism training.

Gen Yousuf lauded the training standards of the troops. The VCOAS also went to the Old Racecourse ground, where he was briefed on the development plan of a botanical garden.—PPI
