Budget session delayed

SWABI, July 25: The budget session of Tehsil Council, Swabi has been delayed.

The district government has failed to give any reason for delay in the session. However, insiders claim that it happened due to the no-trust motions moved against the tehsil Nazim Masood Jabar and Naib Nazim Ali Yar Khan.

“The budget session may take place after August 15,” said the council convener Ali Yar Khan, who also faces a no-confidence move.

The members of district and tehsil councils said that delay in the budget session would also affect the development projects in the region.—Correspondent
