President’s directive to CBR

ISLAMABAD, July 25: President General Pervez Musharraf on Friday directed the Central Board of Revenue (CBR) to address concerns of the business community emanating from amendment in an SRO relating to transactions with the non-registered traders.

The President issued the directive after the concerns of the businessmen, regarding the amended SRO 507, was brought to his notice.

According to the businessmen, the new SRO was “adversely affecting” their business.

President Musharraf asked the CBR to look into the grievances of concerned segment of the business community and take measures for their redressal. —APP
