ID cards fee enhanced

ISLAMABAD, July 24: The ministry of interior has made an upward revision in the issuance fees of Computerized National Identity Card (CNICs) with effect from October 1, 2003.

According to an SRO issued on July 23, the CNICs from swift registration centres will now be issued on a fee of Rs75 instead of Rs60, and CNICs on manual applications would be issued on Rs50 instead of Rs35 charged previously.—APP
