President, PM briefed

RAWALPINDI, July 24: President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali attended a briefing here on Thursday on the prevailing regional and international situation.

They were given a comprehensive briefing by senior officials of the foreign ministry about the Pakistan-Afghanistan relations, situation in Iraq and the Indo-Pakistan ties.

Vice Chief of Army Staff, Gen Muhammad Yusaf Khan, and other senior government functionaries were also present on the occasion. —APP
