Youth back home after two years

SADIQABAD, Dec 30: A young resident of Firoza Town, who was kidnapped about two years ago, was recovered after paying a ransom of Rs1 million.

Reports said Muhammad Yousaf Abbasi, son of Sardar Muhammad Javed Khan Abbasi, was residing in Rahim Yar Khan for his education. Two unidentified persons came to him and forced him to smell a handkerchief after which he fell unconscious.

On regaining consciousness, he found him at a house from where he was handed over to a hostage camp.The camp owners, however, took him to tribal area and left him in a camp.

His father said he had received a letter from some agents of the group, who demanded Rs2 million ransom. However, he said, after negotiations he paid Rs1 million and got his son released.

He said he had given the names of the suspects tothe police, who were investigating.
