PS chairman passes away

KARACHI, Dec 30: Pakistan Steel Mills Chairman Lt-Col (retd) Muhammad Afzal Khan died of heart attack on Tuesday morning. He was 61.

He was reviewing development works at the Pakistan Steel National Park in Steel Town when he suffered a heart attack at 7:45am. He was immediately taken to the Pakistan Steel hospital, from where he was being shifted to the NICVD when he suffered another attack, which proved fatal.

His funeral prayers were offered at the Hockey ground of PS Sports Complex which was attended by senior officers of the Pakistan Steel, senior army officers and prominent industrialists.
