DADU: A bogie of the Bolan Express derailed at Ghari Wari, two kilometres from Sehwan railway station, late in the night and was put back on track on Monday morning. No one was seriously hurt in the accident.

The train was on its way from Karachi to Quetta when the accident occurred, causing suspension of rail traffic till 8am on Monday.

A team of technicians, labourers and engineers came from Kotri to put the bogie back on track.

Eyewitnesses said that only five passengers had minor bruises because of the derailment.

They were provided first aid on the spot and allowed to continue journey, they said.

The administration of Sehwan town and police rushed to the scene and helped Railways officials in the rescue and repair operation.
