KARACHI: Civil society activists on Saturday staged a demonstration and performed dhamal outside the Karachi Press Club in protest against the recent bomb blast at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.

A large number of human rights, labour rights and women rights activists and political workers attended the protest demonstration.

The protesters raised slogans against terrorism and asked the government to take stern action against the culprits and their supporters.

“It is a complete failure of security, Sindh is a land of peace, but it is bleeding now.” said an activist.
