PESHAWAR, Dec 27: The forthcoming meeting of the National Finance Commission scheduled for Jan 2, at Islamabad has been postponed, according to official sources.
Provincial governments were informed about the postponement of the meeting by the federal finance division a couple of days ago, an official of the provincial government said.
“The provincial government was simply informed about the decision by the senior authorities of the federal finance division without mentioning any specific reason,” said an officer.
