Man, son shot dead

GUJRANWALA, Dec 27: A man shot dead his uncle and a cousin and injured another cousin over a family dispute late Friday night in Kamoki.

Hanif was present in his house at Sharifpura locality when Amjad along with his accomplices Azam, Sharif and others reached there and shot him dead. Later, the accused went to the shop of deceased and opened fire on his son Saifullah, killing him instantly as well. The assailants then followed another cousin Arshad and injured him when he was on his way home.

An old enmity was described as the cause of the double murder.

Police have registered a case against the accused and are investigating.

Meanwhile, a malang was found dead at Sheranwala Bagh on the GT Road here on Saturday.

The elderly man was seen wandering along the road at night. However, he was found dead in the garden in the morning.
