Lahore thrash Quetta in dress rehearsal for final

LAHORE: In what was a dress rehearsal for the final, Lahore Lions routed Quetta Panthers 3-0 in their final league phase match of the inaugural Women’s Hockey League at the National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.

Hina Pervaiz scored twice while Ishrat Abbas added one to end Quetta’s unbeaten run while maintaining Lahore’s.

Meanwhile, Saira Ashraf, Tehmina and Arzoo Mansoor scored as Karachi Dolphins defeated Pesh­awar Deers 3-0 margin to set up a third-place playoff against Islamabad Shaheens.
