Omar powers Peshawar ASC to victory

LAHORE, Dec 23: Three matches were decided on the opening day of the Mobilink Polo Cup on Tuesday.

Four goals by Omar Minhas enabled Peshawar ASC to beat Mobilink 6-5 1/2. Classic Water notched up 7-6 win against Shahzad Textile by two handicap goals.

Four goals by Atif Yar Tiwana and three by I. A. Khan Simba, including a hat trick helped Shalimar trounce Security 2000 by a wide margin 9-3 1/2.

Atif completed his hat trick by scoring three goals in a row - two in the first and the third at the start of the second.
